Temp Reading

I just put on a new clip for the cooling sensor becuase mine had a bent pin and was getting no reading...now the reading is all over the guage...any ideas?

I tried to post this on electrical's board but no replies

Just trying to get the ball rolling:

Have you checked the wire for fraying? What about checking the connection to the dash, do you have a solid connection there?
