ok i have to get the coupler that connects the water pump to the gear drive off the cam..
i went to the dealer to get one $63.97!!! i said f#ck that...
were else could i get one?...im gonna try a couple junk yards but if that doesnt work then what?
i have all my money delagated already...so if i have to pay 65 bucks for this then i cant get my T-5 rebuilt...
im a poor @ss

i called every friggin junk yard in the state of MI (and 1 in ohio)and noone has any LT1 parts...

You could get a CSI electric pump. The go into the stock housing, but eliminate the weep hole. When a stock style pump goes bad it leaks fluid out the weep hole right onto the opti spark so your water pump going bad can cost a lot of money.

i made sure i asked if the yards i called had any of those cars aswell..i asked if they had any roadmasters, caprices (either motor) or camaro/firebirds
no luck there either..
im gonna search around the web for 4th gen salvage yards...i may score one for a few bucks
when the guy at the parts counter was looking up the part i saw 2 parts on the screen...on was like 5 and some change and the other was the 65 dollar gem....i though to myself "no way its 65 bucks".....its like 2 inches long...hell i could probly make one for $8.67
