Ok, so between these rods....

Ok, so being that no one makes an H beam for a pressed pin, and buying another new set of pistons is out of the question, i'm left with the option of heavy Bowtie rods that are 1000 dollars, Lunati street/strip I beam rods, summit stg 2 rods, Scat ICR rods (linked below), and a new set of PM rods. I don't like the idea of of the lunati or the summit rods, simply because they are only rated to 450 hp, and cost twice as much as the PM rods or the scat rods that have the same rating. So the main choice seems to be between the scat rods and the PM rods.

I'd go with the Chevy PM rods.

Given that I've pushed STOCK rods way beyond 450 HP with nothing but a good set of rod bolts (ARP Waveloc) and some general clean-up of casting lines and such, I'd say either one is a good choice assuming you prep and double-check them well and use REAL GOOD rod bolts. Personally, I swear by ARP Wavelocs.

I've already got the ARP waveloc pro series bolts sitting in my garage, they're going in whatever rods i get. I think the PM rods are the winners.

Eagle SIR I beams are good too. I'm getting a set of those for my 400 buildup. They're only $199 at cnc motorsports.

Edit: BTW, they already come with ARP rod bolts (Wavelocs IIRC)
