Does anyone know the fuel capacity of a Z28 fuel tank? Did GM offer large capacity fuel tanks for our third genners, and if so what years and models.........Thanks guys

I believe any ThirdGen with a TBI or TPI (in-tank fuel pump) had a capacity of 15½ gallons. I've never heard of an extra-capacity tank, but that doesn't mean one isn't available. Since the tank is plastic on some models, you can't do the old NASCAR trick of inflating the tank for extra fuel capacity, and I wouldn't advise that anyway regarless of your tank material.
