I Need Your Opinions On Bf Goodrich Comp G-force Ta Kdws Tires

I will be getting some bf goodrich comp g-force ta kdws tires for my 84 z. I had a set of kumho's on the car, but they are worn out after only 15,000 miles. I had them rotated and serviced every 5,000 mile also. They wore flat across, just wore out way too fast. So, now I am looking at gettin the bfg's and wanted to get some fellow f-body members opinions on them. What kind of wear did you get out of them, and also how do they handle. Thanks in advance. Jason

Great tires, I love them. I ran a 2.023 60' on a L98 GTA. Only mods were a 3" exhaust and 1.6 rollers so a stock L98 should expect the same, or close to it.

Everyone I have heard from say they are very sticky, but I want to know how they last. I am not trying to pay 600-800 bucks a year for tires. I only got 15,000 miles out of my kumhos. They stuck like hell, wet or dry, but didn't wear worth a dam.

I've only had mine for about 1,500 miles now and they look like they are wearing fine. They have a larger tread depth than most tires, and wear is even right now.

My friend just got a new set of tires because his G-forces only lasted 20,000. Sounds like these aren't the tires you are looking for. He also rotated every 5000 miles. If I bring up the subject of G-force tires he starts to cuss and swear.

Ive got em and i think they are great for an all season tire. If I had to do it over again I would have gone with the KDW though for the little extra traction, but for an all season tire they are great.

Some type of Cooper Tire. They don't hook like the others but they are supposed to last 50,000 miles if rotated correctly.

are you sure his was the kdws and not one of the others, because they others have a lower tread wear number???

I don't know what kdws is but all I know is that they were BF Goodrich G-force tires. The salesman told him that they would last at least 45,000. This is on a 95 Z28 that is a daily driver. Not one that he drives on weekends and does burnouts at every stop sign.

I have KDW's on the front, with BFG Drag Radials on the rears.

The KDW's handle great, but the treat depth is huge and I wish I could put'em on the rears and burn'em down to acceptable size

I have the KDW and they are awesome tires, but they are a softer compound and seem to wear pretty quick. Got less than 20K or maybe less than 15K on them and they wore down to almost a slick.
I also have the Kumhos Supra 712's, they are decent tires when it is warm outside, but when it's cold, they don't grip that great.
They lasted a over 20K.

the KDW IS 300 TREAD RATING, THE KDWS IS A 400 RATING. I think there should be a big difference between the 2.

Here is the difference in the KDW & the KDWS. There is 100 difference in the tread wear numbers. I think the KDWS should last alot better. My kumho's are 280.

Anyone running the KWDS and not the KDW. I want to know about the wear time on the KWDS which is 100 greater than the KDW. THanks Jason
