I have mine advanced to 8 you could go with 8 - 10. I wouldn't go any higher than that or you might have a problem with the knock sensor/ ECM retarding your timing. It was a nice SOTP improvement over stock.

When I was still TPI last year, I advanced from 6 to 12 degrees. On the G-tech, I gained 3 tenths. The ECM didn't seem to have a problem.

Ron,
With your cooler air charge, free-flowing exhaust, and improved intake, you're probably getting plenty of intake charge into the cylinders. Because of the pressure, I would keep the limit to no more than 10° with a stock PROM (stock timing curves). If you have a serial scanner, you can experiment with higher base timing until your knock counts start increasing and the EST begins retarding spark. Lacking the scanner, and presuming the timing marks are accurate, stay at 10° or below on pump gas.
BTW - I ran a 16.29 ¼ set at 12° BTDC and a 15.86 with 8° BTDC. Think my spark was getting retarded?
