Hypertech stage 1 chip, or not with current mods?

Well i have a 91RS with the current mods, Headers, high flow cat, hooker cat-back, built tranny, Open element intake, Edelbrock RPM intake manifold, performance plugs and wires, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, LT-1 camshaft, performance cap and rotor, and a performance coil.

My question would be, should i leave my hypertech stage one chip in there or should i put the stock one back in. When i get some money i will be sending my computer off, but it just dosnt seem to have all the horsepower i should have after all those mods.

Thanx
Dan

Just leave the hypertech in there. You never know, it might be helping a tiny bit. Atleast that way you can justify spending the money on it.

No need to send your computer off anywhere. You should contact a PROM tuner with your specifications, and have them burn a PROM for your situation. The ECM can stay right where it is.

I'm guessing that the HyperTech isn't doing you much good with a cam and intake change. It probably isn't hurting anything either, but not doing what it should to maximize your setup. If you are still using unaltered stock heads, the difference might not be as great as you might believe.

Things you'll need to know are cam lift and duration, cam timing, initial ignition timing, target RPM for peak torque, rear gear ratio and tire size,
