Question on Carrier size, please help

Ok, my friend has a 93 5.7L 350 auto trans, now what kind of gears does he have and what size carrier? Thanks a lot guys.

Axle/Gears: 3.73 Moser 12-bolt

Your buddy has a 10-bolt carrier with a 7.625 inch ring and 28 spline axles. That carrier will bolt into any 10-bolt housing including the 1982-1992 F-body and the S10 truck line. Earlier models (up through 1988 or 1989) used 26 spline axles, so the successful installation into an earlier generation axle housing requires a different set of axles.
