Cylinder Heads

How much is it to get the 350 TPI heads ported and polished? Also, are the 305 TPI heads the same as the 350 TPI heads? Thanks.

don't know about the cost of port and polish. the 305 and 350 heads have differant size chambers because of the differance in bore size.

The 305TPI head has a 58cc chamber and intake valve size is 1.84".
The 350TPI head (iron) has a 64cc chamber and intake valve size is 1.94".
The exhaust valve size is the same on both at 1.50".

It's not hard to do... It just takes a long time. Using a dremel tool, drill, and all sorts of bits. most machine shops are not willing to do it because its to long, and if they do it might cost you. The best is to do it yourself. Ask Vader about it, he might know. in the meantime, I'll try to find you some references. BRB

My machine shop charged me 350 to port my heads. I'm pretty happy with the job they did too. Noticeable power increase.
