Fuel pump advice........??? Moderators?

What would feed a Super Rammed, LPE 319 cammed motor with World competition 72cc heads? I have seen in another post that the stock 350 pump flows 28 gal/hr. @ 50 psi. Is this enough to feed the beast? If not, what pump is suggested and where could I get the best price. I'm on a budget.

i like holley external pumps. if i recall correctly you'd want the blue pump. i have one on my car and a fram cartrige type fuel filter, but i'm not EFI either. the only bad part with external pumps is finding a place to mount them. several people have said they mounted them on the back side of the sheet metal of the rear seat and noise from vibration was a problem. you could fix that by mounting it on rubber pads. another good location is where the factory fuel filter goes, but thats sort of a long way from the tank.

I just put in a Walboro 255 LPH in-tank. Cost me 125+shipping at muscle motors.

I agree with redmet91z...I would go with the walbro 255lph intank pump. If the sock breaks down in the tank it will reduce the flow of the inline one. The inline pumps are louder too, being in the tank makes for a quiter install.

They have them here for 93.00. http://members.home.com/syclone/APE/...p.html#payment
