L98 Question help please!!!

has anyone carbed a L98 i have an lg4 and i was gonna have those heads ported and all that good stuff valves everything rip out my computer and put a 650 holley double pumper on it what do you guys think faster or slower than a tpi???? please let me know i don't wanna throw away my money thanx

I like the look of the TPI and enjoy the performance and drivability of the basically stock engine, but if you are in to doing a lot of trial and error tuning than go for it. I believe that the engine could handle a more radical cam if you do the above mentioned mods. Also it will be a whole lot less expensive to mod the carb'd engine and go faster.
