You can find great weight reduction by going to a fiberglass hood and also replacing your rear hatch window for a notchback assembly, use an aluminum driveshaft, and other bolt on aftermarket suspension pieces and wheels that are lighter than stock.
wheels i already have (weld pro strars) hood and hatch are basic things, but not practical in any way. dollar for dollar it is not worth it. you can spen 2 to 3 thousand on a good hood and hatch with paint.
i'm looking for things like bumper suports and other sneeky things that are not necessary.
thanks for the help!

5 pounds if you get rid of that smog ****.
plexiglass backwindow will shave off quite a bit.
also you could drive with sandals on...tennis shoes/boots weigh alot. i was thinkin of pulling my doors off and puttin up some venician blinds...
oh and get some drag skinny's for the front

ooo ooo and don't forget the things like; spare tire, jack, tools, and the speakers. i saw an iroc on ebay for sale that had the entire front clip (fenders, hood, nose) that was all fiberglass and was removeable as one piece. he could slide the whole front end off. that would surely get rid of some pounds and make it really easy to work on the car.
haha yah throw the wife out too.
I threw all the kids crap and wifes crap out and dropped bout 150lbs
