air pump removal
I have stock L69 and want to get headers. I want to upgrade the engine in a couple of years. I just want to know should I buy headers with air tubes or without. I dont really like the tubes. I am leaving it as emissions legal as possible. Will it hurt to remove the pump? Thank you Kevin
I would just buy a set of TES headers from Edlebrock, they have the AIR stuff and that way, its gaurenteed you will pass emissions.

Well I live in Iowa and really dont need to pass any emissons but I would like to keep it as original without hacking it all up to a piont. If you know what i mean. It seems as if a person could eliminate this and really not do alot of harm.
