Okay, still need help with hesitation and backfireing...
I adjusted my minimum air, reset the tps sensor to .540, then check timeing (6*) and all is fine. I tried to recall back to when it 1st started. There were two things i did. One was finish porting of the plenum and the other was add fuel injector cleaner (XR-1)...Could i have gone wrong along the way somewhere?

Branz,
Backfiring, not the serious "WOOF" but constant "popping" is usually a symptom of running too lean. Since you removed the plenum, you should make certain there are no vacuum leaks and all hoses/fittings are properly connected. The TPS and timing settings should be good. You might want to test the fuel pressure to make sure you're at least holding 37 PSIG +/- 3PSI. Since your ported plenum should be flowing a bit better, you might want to be a few PSI higher thatn the stock setting.

It doesn't happen all the time, just every once in a while when i am driveing. Froma dead stop if i give it gas in good amounts, it'll hesitate and act like it wants to die, and sometimes it'll backfire from what i think is the exhaust.

Fuel pressure is fine, everything is fine under the plenum.... Could the porting have caused me to all of sudden go lean? Man, it sucks being 16 and not knowing anything...
The fuel injection cleaner couldn't have done this could it? How much air increase would be neaded to go lean?
