flat spots on tire's

ok i was going about 80 ish and had to lock up my brakes. this caused 4 brand new flat spots. if you haven't had them it feels like your running around with, well flat tires. ne-way I was wondering how I could fix them. I was thinking I could burn them out and make them flush. rotate the tires do it agen so all 4 are flush or close to flush. I saw 2 out comes A: well it works and I just don't drive in any snow. and B: I also wear down the flat spot and blow my tires. tell me your thoughts on this, or new ideas. (sorry for bad spelling, I got an F in english 3 times)

Some tire stores have a "shaving" machine, that will take the tread down into a perfect circle. Of course you lose a whole bunch of tread life, but you've already lost that anyway.

Don't do it with burnouts; the heat will destroy them. Not to mention the amount of wear you'll put on the car in the process.
