Why me ?!?!?!
Why me ?!?!?!
This sucks, my car has a new problem every week!
Ok, here goes. I got 2 codes: 22 & 33
Does code 22 have anything to do with 33? The thing is that I just installed a new TPS and need to finish adjusting it. Will the TPS cause the MAF code?
But this is not my real problem. When driving, the SES lights comes on and the car starts to bog and stutter like the fuel is not getting to the cylinders. It's not a constant failure. I can hear some backfiring too!
I can keep the throttle at, lets say 20% and the car will accelerate and bog down like the fuel gets in waves, not at a constant rate!
The weird thing is that I turn the car off, start it up again, the SES light is gone and the car runs fine!
A few mins later it starts all over again
Can the TPS be doing this? Its brand new, I just need to adjust it correctly (I thought it was correct but it doesn't seem like it).
Anyways, thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll come back next week with a new problem

YES!!! The tps makes a big difference. Here is a quote from the service manual, "The TPS is one of the most important imputs used by the ECM for fuel control and for most of the ECM control outputs." Get it to .55 volts idle. I was having the same problem. Temporarily wired it to the defualt state where the ECM ignores the TPS until I coul fix it (recently...didn't have time before...and mine was all screwed up, the TPS was bad, out of adjustment, and miswired when I got the car...
