valve cover breathers

Im looking at a catalog right now and I need to order some edelbrock chrome breathers. I dont know which one I need though. One says " WITH NIPPLE and the other says WITHOUT NIPPLE. What does this mean? Also, should I spend a little extra money on the push on breather with the open element?
