how do I check spark plug wires for ohm?

how do I check spark plug wires for ohm?

Yup - I have no clue. I have the meter and the wries but no clue on what to look for.......please help...I have a digital multimeter and would like to check ohm's in my wires. How is this done? Where do you set the meter on? Thanks in advance.

Set the meter to 20K.

Put one lead into one end of the wire, the other lead into the other end of the wire.

The reading you get on the meter will be the resistance (in ohms).

IIRC, 4K or 5K was what my new wires read, old ones were anywhere from 4K to 16K/18K.

Not sure what the spec should be, consult your manual.

depends on the wires too what sort off reading you get. i have it wrote in the garage soemwhere, but i tihnk blue max wires are 800 ohms per inch, maybe foot.
