Flamethrowers!!

i know this topic doesnt really fall in engine work but i didnt know where else to put it. Well anyways, i was just curious if anyone here as added the autoloc flamethrower kit to there dual exhaust? Im thinking about getting the kit and just wanted to know if it would be hard or easy to put on. i think it would be really cool to shoot some flames out through my pipes! anyways i just wanted to know what you guys think about it and if you've done this or not. Thanks

Old high school trick from the 40s...

People used to drill a hole in their tailpipe and stick a spark plug in there, and run a piece of secondary wire from it to one of the other plugs. No I've never actually done it, seen it done plenty of times though, it looks pretty much .... juvenile. Kind of like putting playing cards in your bicycle spokes. I would have thought most people would have moved beyond that nowadays.

As far as a "kit", I have no clue what it has in it; I'd expect that in this day and time, it probably generates sparks itself rather than borrowing spark from a plug. Shouldn't be too much of a challenge to put in.

This isn't going on a 3rd gen, is it? Please say you're putting it on a '32 T-bucket or something. We already have an image problem with the general public thinking the owners of htese cars are all either very young or very countryfied, that sort of thing wouldn't help much.

Countryfied...LOL...nice! Actually I believe the concept is the same but the young rodders, particularly the imports, are trying to mimic their TransAm, GTU, GT, etc. roadrace heros. Those cars shoot flames for real.
