Extra Guages

Extra Guages

picked up some new guages for my car. i got a oil pressire and a air fuel. how hard are they to hook up?
also what do i connect them too besides power and ground?
thanks for any help.

The oil pressure is easy, and you don't have to hook power and a ground to them as that is just for the lighted bulb to light the gage. That is up to you but as for the oil you just plug that into the back of your intake or the oil sending unit with the compression fitted hose/accessories that usually come with the gauges. I never did a air one =[ sorry

thats a mechanical gauge and like I said before, it should come with the hoses n fittings you need to patch it all together, just tap into the back of your intake with one end, and the other goes into the gauge. easy

ok i got it figured out, just where is the fitting on the motor. its a 92 rs W/305. i just dont know where the fitting goes on the motor location wise.
