Dual snorkel identification

Has anyone seen the latest issue of Hot Rodding? The one with the yellow '91 RS and Chevelle on the cover? Inside the magazine is a picture of the Ram Jet 350 in the Camaro. The dual snorkel on this Camaro has an IAT sensor mounted on it. Can anyone tell me whether that is an aftermarket snorkel or a factory version? I know the IAT sensor came mounted on the underside of the plenum from the factory. Then what could the fitting in the factory snorkel be there for? The reason I'm asking this is because my IROC has the exact same snorkel. The fitting was plugged with a pipe plug, and the IAT sensor was still living in its original location. I relocated the sensor to the snorkel and plugged the hole in the plenum with the pipe plug. The threads and diameter matched perfectly. It was like the IAT sensor was supposed to be there.

TPIS makes a kit to move your IAT to the snorkel. V6 MPFI cars have the IAT in the snorkel from the factory.
