two questions
two questions
two things i bought my trans am about two weeks ago and since that time ive already have had some problems with it
my check engine light came on and i love the fact that there are so many things that could be wrong when that happens but ive found that after the light came on she'll idle high at about 1500 rpms when i first fire her up and then after i drive for a little while and stop she idle normally at about 8-900. she's got the TPI so i didnt think that F.I. cars are supposed to idle high when the first start up like carbed cars are so which would be the better bet the O2 sensor or the egr sensor?
also next question is if anyone knows where i could get a either slightly used or rebuilt 305 in the new england area. dont feel like shipping an engine across the country.
thanks

Could be neither. Check the trouble codes and it should give you a good idea of where to start. Do a search on checking trouble codes and you should find a buttload of info on how to do it.
