Hi, can sombody lool up casting #1066036 ?
and any info that you can give me baout this motor. I dont have a clue if its 305 or 350, but I got it with heads, intake, and everything else except the alternator and compressor for $300 and I figure since core prices are almost that, I cant go wrong. Thanks.... DAve

 

Is it possibly 10066038 instead of 1066038? If so, then it is a Target Master/Goodwrench crate engine, 350. It should have a "5.7" cast in the top of the block behind the drivers side head.

 

Yes, that is it. I must have typed it too fast. ... So it is a 350, thats good news. Can anybody tell me about the heads and cam that came with the engine or any other useful info that might be of help.. Thanks. Dave
