Do LT1 and L98 MAT sensors look aline?

I took mine off my 350 TPI and it has a prob and screws into the bottom of my plenum, but when i went to buy a LT1 (supposevely better) to do a mat relocation I got the new one and the end isnt a screw. it looks like a pipe fitting end (like how the FPR hose slides over it)and there is a plastic cage at the end with a blue ball on the end of a wire? Is this the right dam thing?

Mkos,

Yup. The LT1 MAT sensor pushes into a hole formed in the rubber intake duct just in front ot the throttle body. The TPI MAT threads in just like the CTS. The reason the LT1 sensor is plastic is because it never gets exposed to the heat of the plenum.
