Finally got the GTA back on the road after rebuilding it.Seems to run good so far,but I haven't actually stomped on it yet.My question is,will an MSD box realy help with starting? It seems to crank a little sometimes when starting.Other times it fires immediately.Thanks. 89 GTA L98,ported and polished L98 heads, plenum, runners, and base,96 LT1 cam,1.6 Comp Cams magnum roller tips,ZZ3 springs,Speed Pro Hyper pistons,(9:75 to 1 comp)air foil,Hypertech afpr,SLP 1 3/4" headers,3" Flowmaster exhaust,Hughes 2500 stall lockup converter, billet servo, and a brand new Pine tree air freshener.

If you are using a mechanical fuel pump now and were using an electric pump that could be it. Also timing could cause this.
