well my carb is making a kind of high pitched clicking sound that seems to be internal. I have had a rod knock before in my old motor and it dosent sound like that. its just annoying! but someone sugested that it might be my mix solenoid but i have never heard of the thing before. and really have no idea about it. whatever info u think would be relevent (big word of the day) would be a great help.

Spitfire - The clicking/ticking noise is normal and actually indicates that the mixture control solenoid is adjusting the fuel mixture. Earlier post said you were running lean. What mods do you have and how did you determine you were running lean? Did you get a code 44 (lean) or do the plugs look lean?
