Smog Pump / Emissions Removal .... Getting Closer
hey guys... got part of the work done... got most of my emissions crap removed and got plugs on the one side put in other side is going to take some work.... but its blocked off and got all those hoses out and the black box just gotta get the pump off ... ?? any ideas on how the easiest way to get that pump off ??? right now though just havin the heads blocked off and all that **** out feels a little better.... i was just glad to hear it start up righta way.. next task is removing that pump from the car ... and with that damn a/c right there not sure how i'm going to get if out... any ideas from past expieriances lemme know.. thx .. i'll keep ya updated on my progress

for the smog pump: i loosened the bolts while the belt was still on for tension, then took the belt off and removed the pulley. there are 2 torx bolts holding the pump on, carefully remove those, and then just pry the pump out. theres the line to the black box, its held on by 2 bolts, easy enough. no help on the a/c, i left mine on

alright i already got that black metal hose on the back side off so ... loosen the bolts on the pulley with the belt still tight then take off the belt and take out the rest of those four bolts and then there are two torq bolts left to get off right ??
