Fuel Pump

IS there anyway I can run an inline only fuel pump with the stock in tank pump if iswitch from carb to TPI, or do I have to replace the in tank pump?

waboro (sp?) makes an inline pump. why wouldn't you want an in tank pump? i think it'd be easier way to go.

Buddy of mine has a 89 RS which came with the TBI injection (basically a **** poor fuel injection system)... he pulled his engine and replaced it with a 350 block and a Holley carb... he left his old in-tank fuel pump in place and has an in-line fuel pump to feed his carb....the in-tank fuel pump is not electrically connected...

I will be chatting to him tonight at our local car meet..I will get ya the details on what he has done and let ya know!

I don't want to put an in-tank one in because that involves droppping the tank and that is not an option right now. Will having the stock pump in the tank be a restriction to the inline pump?
