rod knocking

rod knocking

Is there anything I can do to quiet this down change to different oil ect. What kind of price am I looking at to get it fixed?

whatever it is you're hearing i'll bet it's anything but a rod knock. only way to fix it, if it is rod knock, is to fix it, not mask the problem with differant oil

try some motor honey or some 90 wt gear oil, worked awsome in my 37 year old 190k mile ford, and its still running to this day!! (my buddy bought the car so i see it all the time)
