How did you get to it?

I was trying to play with my timing, but I couldnt get in there to loosen the bolt. I cant get a ratchet in there beacause of the cap and the base. I took the bracket for lifting the engine off, but I still couldnt get enough room to get a open end in there. Please tell me what simple thing I'm missing.

if you go to the parts store you can get a GM distributor wrench, usually about 10 bucks. You could also use a crowfoot wrench or bend your own.
