Alrighty.. from the inception of the TPI what type and size injectors came stock on what setups, as far as i know all 305's had 19lbs/hr ... but i am concerned w/ the 350's. Did vettes get different ones earlier, like 85-87, than the camaro 350's? The only term i have heard as far as type has been a MulTech?.. was there a different one?

The 19lb injectors are for the 305s. 22lb injectors are for the 350s. The original equipment manufacturer of the TPI injectors was Bosch. GM later used Multec and Lucas CAV injectors, before going with Rochester injectors.

Since ThirdGens used Bosch injectors (just like the Ford systems) they are often removed in favor of 24lb injectors designed for Ford SVO vehicles. The only difference between the two is the 'O' ring size used to seal the injectors to the rails and manifolds.

I'm not certain what was originally used on the early C4s, but would suspect they were 22lb Bosch.

Thank you very much Vader!! Now for another question on them... I have a 91 Z28 L98.. i assume they are 22 lb lucas injectors(bluishh and silver body), no? Which of the three types were the best injector for performance, etc? i Have a set of 350 injectors from and 86 Corvette, i would like to send them and get thewm cleaned so my car is not down for more than 1 day. Would these injectors be as good or better or worse than my current style?
