Speed Limiter
Speed Limiter
Someone posted that the rs with the z rims do not have these well they were wrong. Does anyone know how to remove the speed limiter it cuts out at 110?It feels like there is a lot left go and ive heard that the top speed is around 150.Its a 92 rs 305 v8

There are only a couple ways to remove the speed limiter on any f-body. One is with an aftermarket or custom PROM, the other is to remove the speedo input signal so the computer doesnt know what the speed is. The best way is with a new PROM, because the computer uses the speed in part of its calculations to know how much fuel to give it.
