Curious about cam

My combo is in my sig, here's my question. I feel that maybe I shouldve went with a slightly larger cam to match to the sportsman 2's. I dont drive the car much anymore because of gas prices. Gas mileage = no factor. What cam do you think wouldve been a better choice for this motor?

Thanks

Whats the specs on it? Is it in a 305 or 350? Id say it will still be a good combo with those heads but you could probably use alittle more carb.

oops, its a 350. Ya think the carbs too small? Im not too good at tuning carbs for "power" but I can get em running smoothly. BTW, thanks for the fast reply.

specs on cam "i think are"

duration 218/222
lift ~.46/.47 @.05

but w/ the 1.6ratio rockers, i think the lift is somewhere around 0.5 @.05

The carb is a bit small, I would get a 750, preferably holley. If you have trouble tuning them, there's a bunch of good books out there that can help you out with that. With the sportsman 2 heads I would look at the XE274 for a cam.

That cam will be street friendly and make good power.
