sticking gas pedal real annoying help!!

driving around today and i came to a stop light and my car seemed tow want to keep rolling. i looked at my tach and it was reading bout 1300-1500 i tapped the gas pedal and the r's went down. when i got home i looked under the dash to see if the pedal was sticking on something but i couldnt see anything. i did adjust the tps not to long ago. i did it by eye though cause i couldnt get a reading on a colt meter. i just looked at my friends and tried to match it up. would this have anything to do with it? why cant i get a reading on my tps.? any help would be great.

You should never adjust the TPS without a voltmeter- either buy a digital one ($20) or get to a shop quick. Same for setting ignition timing- don't do it without a timing light. Same for [insert procedure here]...
