Headlight having a joke on me
My driver side headlight seems to be having fun with me. We used to think it was the relay which I am told was only on certain trans ams. But the old one was shot and cracked so I bought a new one and it fit perfectly in place. I tried the lights and got nothing. While getting pissed later on that night I hit the button and they both went up. Turned it off and right back on and didn't work again.
Well since I have added that relay it is harder to turn the manual *** to get the light up. Well it feels like working when it wants to and that is driving me crazy. I think a cleaning of the connectors would be the solution because they have like grease on em from 17 years ago when the car was born. Any advice as to this?
Any? Any Help at all...
Thanx
Tom

lol sounds easy enough but in my experience with this car so far nothing is easy. So how do I do this and is it expensive? On a tight budget for a little while. Thanx for the help
its not expensive. you can get one from anywhere that sells third gen interior parts. should be about 15 bucks or so, i believe. you might even find one cheaper on ebay.
the switch is on the dash. you dont need to take the whole dash off just the little compartment thing that the switch is in. behind it are two screws, then take those out. put your new switch in and wire it the same way the old one was.
