GTA's and Engines...
Did the GTA come with a certain engine or did it have many like everything else. Also, what makes a GTA different than a TA and so forth?

They came with either the 305 TPI or 350 TPI.
Options not available on TA... and other options standard on GTA that were not standard on TA.

The GTA is typically slightly heavier (due to options) and has no vent exit holes behind the front wheel openings.
A nasty little secret that the corporate marketing people kept from customers was that an equally equipped Formula 350 was slightly faster and skid-padded better than the GTA (excluding TTAs). The TA was somewhere just a little better or just a little worse than the GTA, depending on equipment.
The Formy was aerodynamically cleaner than either one.
