It happened. I cruised my only nearby auto junkyard and all of the usable Q-Jets and HEI distributors are GONE! Those cars are picked clean! Thanks to the Ladies Garden Club-types, all of the junkyards have disappeared in Bibb County, "Tch, what do men see in those digusting eyesores? They're just full of cars and junk!".

I can't go driving for a hour or more just to get to another yard. Are there any websites that feature good, used, GM parts? Hopefully with some kind of guarantee? Help me out, men!

 

What year of car you looking for? I have a dist. from my '91 L98 (external coil) with a fairly new module and brand new (still in box) pick-up coil that I would consider parting with, if you're interested. Also, the cap and rotor are fairly new, as well.

The car in question is a 1985 Olds 88 with a 307 V8. It has the computer controlled Q-Jet. I'm scrounging for both computer and non-computer Q-Jets and non-computer HEI from any Olds V8.

 

I wish there was some nationwide junkyard listing out there. I was having trouble finding junkyards... then I drove down a road I never went down before, and found three.

Got one on ebay, do a search for "quadra jet". There are probably many more.
