Check this out: Vette Servo

Would also reccomend installing the Pressure Regulator spring/TV Boost valve (coming soon).

there is only one seal in the whole thing to change?? gmtech i read your article but i was still unable to tell how many seals...ive heard many diff numbers...from 1-5 seals involved w/ the servo. also, is it possible for you to get an exploded view of all the components that are removed from the trans? i have no idea what the parts inside are called or what the look like but i think i have a bad seal in the servo so i would like to change it

CamaroZ_85, there are acutally two seals that are involved. When I installed mine it was on a brand new tranny, so I didn't have to replace the o-ring on the cover. The one I listed is the one that goes around the piston housing. I don't have the part number for the cover o-ring, sorry.

GMTech, I can't wait for the TV Boost Valve and Pressure Regulator spring article. I actually bought these parts as well when I put my 'Vette servo in, but I didn't know exactly where they went, and didn't want to risk messing up my brand new tranny looking for them. If your instructions in that article are as good as this one, it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks.

There are actually four seals, two of them are O-rings that you will have to purchase. One is a Red O-ring as seen in the article, the other O-ring is a blue one for around the cover. -Edit- Let me just add to avoid any added corrections, there is a fifth seal, but you don't need to be concerned about it, unless you have a 4th gear concern, and that is the 4th apply piston, but you don't need to mess with it.

The other two are teflon, scarf-cut seals that come with the servo. I will update the tech article with an exploded view, and all the PN's. Thanks for the feedback.

I took awsome pictures of the other tranny mod, I hope they turn out.
