What size chambers on heads?
On the S/R torquer's which chamber size is the best for an 87 305 Tpi, the 76 cc or 67cc. Or do they make one smaller for the 305?

I think the stock heads on a 305 are as low as 58cc.. I know the new zz4 uses 58cc chambers, and thats for a 350. I have a set of AFR heads with 58cc chambers that I am going to use on my 350. Unfortunately, compression will be way high for a street motor so you might want to consider that when you get your heads. Dished pistons and flat tops are another consideration. A dished piston or one with large valve reliefs can lower compression. But why not do it with chamber size instead? If I could go back and do it again, I would make the chambers larger in my heads!! :-(

Ok I went to JEG's and found that the 305 torquers are only 58 cc is this the way to go or will the 67cc's work. What is the difference?

The larger combustion chambers are for larger engines, who can keep compression up with larger chambers due to the greater cylinder volume. With the 305 and the 67cc heads your compression will get shot to hell, and your power will suffer. The 58cc heads will keep your compression ratio up where it needs to be.

305 use the 58cc, on a 350 get the 67cc heads. You'll love the power addition of the S/R's.
