computer in car...

My goals are to integrate technology, and mobile audio systems. The current items I have in mind are a computer system with LCD monitor or a laptop, an Ipod, and a complete sound system. My goal is to have the computer system completely integrated and seamless. Ultimately I would like to have the CPU towards the backend of the car, and the controls and monitor in the dash. Any ideas?

Re: computer in car...

I have seen a Dodge Avenger with something like this. They took a computer and put it in the trunk, then took a monitor and added something to make it "touch sccreen" and then fit it in place of his stereo.

He now plays his MP3s off the computer in the car. I thought it was amaizing and very expencive. I read on to find that it was fairly cheap. The touch screen thing was only $200 on ebay and used and his old computer.

Ill search for the pics.

Yeah i was thinking touchscreen to avoid the whole mouse problem... sounds awesome. I think thats the only thing i would need to purchase.

How could i get power to it though? i'd rather not just have an adapter and plug it in. any other way? thanks!
