Hey guys. I put on my Weld 15x3.5's Draglites last night and they've got 165R15's mounted on them so it's lowered the front of the vehicle just enough that there's just enough room to slide my hydraulic jack under there. I wouldn't mind cutting a coil off the front springs because I don't like the height it's at now, but that would put it too low to fit the jack under there.
For people with 2" drops, where do you jack it up in the front? The A-arms?

With my 4cyl springs, and skinnies, I cant get m floor jack under the cross member. I have to use my scissor jack from my cavalier. It is a PITA.

There's another way to get the jack under- lift the car up yourself!
Take hold of the front fender right above the tire, and lift up as hard as ya can. This will preload the struts- and they won't return to normal road height because you're not driving. They need to "bounce".
After you lift up one side, lift up the other in the same manner. Repeat this once more (left side, right side), and you should be able to slide a jack underneath the front. Works for me every time.

I have a couple of wooden ramps that I use to drive up onto, they only lift the front 2 inches, but then its more than enough to get the floor jack under the front. Local handyman type made them in about an hr, $20 worth their weight in gold to me. I'm only lowered about 1 1/4 in the fronts.
