NEED HELP!!!!!!!!
when i start the engine on my trans am the pressure gauge goes to about 210 but as i drive i noticed that the needle slowly drops down into the red what could be wrong

you mean the "oil"!pressure guage goes to 210PSI?

Welcome aboard!
I think you'll find the members of the board will be more than able to give you some good suggestions about your problems. It's always a good idea to be as specific as possible when describing a problem, including model, year, fuel system, and any pertinent information about the specific problem or symptoms.
In this case, "pressure" usually is interpreted as oil pressure. 210 PSIG oil pressure would be WAY off the gauge. If you have metric gauges, or if you were talking about temperature instead of pressure, that would make a big difference. Any help?

sorry i have an 87 trans am with the lg4 engine and its the oil pressure gauge when i start the car it goes to 210 kpa then after i drive for a short time the needle drops slowly down to 180 kpa then it doesnt go back up this only started happening recently it used to stay at 210 kpa constantly
