Wheels?

My 91 Rs needs a the tires rotated. I have the stock rs 16" wheels which are directional. My question is can they be rotated or do they have to be remounted?
Thanks Scoty

they can be rotated, but only to a certain extent. if you have directional tires and the front and back wheels are the same, then you can rotate the tires back to front, but you can only do it on the same side. Meaning, the back tire on the driver side can go to the front, and front to back, but you cannot take the driver rear and put it on the passenger front, it can only go to the driver front. Now if you have the factory wheels with different backspacing and directional tires, you cannot rotate them at all.

I have the factory wheels. I think they can be rotated front to back. I know they can't go side to side. I willl check to see if there are any back spacing issues tomorrow.

Since you have directional tires, and factory 16" wheels, then you have to dismount your tires to rotate them. The factory 16" wheels have different backspacing from front to rear. They are marked under the center cap next the the lugnuts.
