Dual Snorkel.

I am interested in upgrading my air cleaner to a dual snorkel as opposed to using an open element. I really do not want to pay the money to buy one of the setups especially since I know I can do it my self. I have heard of some people removing their brights and putting the inlets there. But, this is only good for track use and I only drive my car on the street. I want to know if anyone has (or if it is possible) to run the inlets to the fog light holes. Or if this is impossible/ridiculous. Thanks in advance for any advice or opinions.

When I still had my carb, I took the "scoop" that mounts to the radiator support, and bolted it to the underneath of the car. Then I ran flexible ducting from the scoop to the aircleaner. The hose is too long with too many curves to suck water into the aircleaner, but you will have tons of bugs, so clean the filter regularly.

Are you talking about the the "front spoiler" deal that scrapes everything and anything? Also I think I could buy some screen and put near the inlets for the ducts to prevent bugs (or at least big ones).

Edelbrock's 10" open element = $20 = WAY better then dual snorkel and NO guess work. Plus it looks bad *** in there.
