winding up to 3000
i have a 86 iroc-z 305tpi auto that has a new motor with 7500 miles, i just noticed that when floored it will get to 3000rpm and wont pull all the way through 5000rpm. the car would pull up throught their before i dunno why it wont now, i tried revving it in nuetral and it still will only go to like 3000 rpm.
i checked the throttle linkage to make sure it was opening all the way. it is i believe.

jsut puttin this back up top so u guys see it, thanks a lot for your help, u guys are much better than droppin a lot of money at the chevy dealer.
