fuel pump size?
fuel pump size?
would a fuel pressure test tell me if i need a bigger fuel pump or not?? i have a 350 full rollers, high lift cam, bored,headers, holley intake and holley 750 VS carb> is the mechanical stock fuel pump enough??? still trying to find out were my power has gone. i have tryed almost everything.

Only under high demand conditions.
One option is to run a fuel pressure gage so you can see it while blasting down the on-ramp. (Don't route a fuel line into the passenger compartment, though - a wee bit on the dangerous side.)
Another option is to hook up a fuel gage under the hood. Drain the fuel bowls. Have an assistant start the car (or remote start it under the hood), immediately run the revs up and watch the pressure gage. It should maintain 6 psi (or at a minimum 4) while it is filling the bowls. If you set the floats a little too high and have the sight plugs out while you're doing this, you'll know when the bowls are full. Reset after the test is complete, of course.

Also...
I assume this is a 4160 model carb. You might need to convert to 4150 so you can tune the secondaries more closely.
I'd also recommend the Quick Fuel adjustable secondary housing. I've only seen them in Jegs, but they make adjusting the secondary opening a breeze.
Of course, I'd really recommend a DP, but that's another thread...
