NEED REAR END CODE HELP!!!!!!

Okay, I have a rear end for my 69 that I have no idea what it is besides a 10 bolt GM. The # is CPO 080107
I have no way to decode this, so could someone help me out, or tell me where to find it? I counted the gears and came up with a ratio of 2.64, but I don't know how right that was. Also, I believe the rear could be from a 70 Chevy pickup 3500 or C-10. Thanks for any help, I can't find it anywhere!!!!

Stop whining! It's probably just an 8.5"

Rear end gaskets are a waste of time. Just run a bead of silicone around the cover and bolt it on.

CPO = I never bothered looking for it but it will be a code for the ratio only.
08 = August
01 = day of month
0 = Oldsmobile plant
7 = No 7 code listed in my source. Possibly an E? E= Eaton Posi

Thank you for answering my question. I was not trying to be annoying, but if you were stuck driving jap crap until you got your classic 69 Camaro done, you would probably be as frantic as I am!

Go with Stephen's advice, use the tubular style gasket. As far as what's inside, who cares about the codes, you'll be popping the cover off anyway so you'll be able to tell exactly what it is then.

Are you sure it's going to fit? (spring perches and all) The truck isn't the same as the F car... plus, if the car runs good, a 2.73 (15 & 41) gear is kind of a mismatch, and the 8½" isn't exactly the heaviest-duty piece out there...
