Lost all my oil..

Lately i'd been having problems with oil pressure, and i thought it was just the gauge, so i replaced the oil pressure sending unit, and it didnt help, so when i started my car today the oil pressure was at 0. So i turned the car off, thinking it was the gauge, and started it again, and still 0 oil pressure so i opened my door to get out of my car and all my oil was on the pavement

I have no idea what could have caused it to shoot out at such a high velocity, like all my oil out of my car in a matter of seconds. The oil came above the filter.. but not from the filter. Does anyone have any ideas what might cause this?
Thanks

sounds like sending unit (if above oil filter) wasn't tightened enough. came loose, didn't give a reading, and oil came out the hole.

hello mr. obvious first time caller long time listener (if you listen to bob and tom)

i'd have to agree the possible causes are limited to what he said. did you use sealer on the threads?

I had this happen to me and it turned out to be the oil filter mount and the engine oil cooler adaptor. The flanges distorted over time and the seal broke between them. The oil blasted out in a matter of a couple seconds.

its a good day to whoop somebodies a$$
its a bad day so you best stay off my back

Everytime that song comes on I stop what i'm doing n crank the volume
