hey people i think the dudes that put my engine in did not put the hoses were they should be. first if u can see my fuel line runs between my water pump and block touching my engine. could this be heating up my fuel/causeing it in evaporate?? how should i root this line? also my coolent line are almost touching my intake should i get longer hoses and let them hang off like i see other smallblocks or is this fine? any pics u guys have of fuel line rooting please post, i cant think of another safe way. thanks

as far as fuel lines, you are fine. GM routed the carb fuel lines between the water pump and timing chain cover, and there was never a problem. As far as your heater hoese, again, you are fine. Besides, if there is coolant circulating IN the motor, running the hoses along a cool aluminum intake manifold won't cause any unwanted heat exchanges. It's not like the heater hoses are going to get too hot sitting there or something.
