Shifting Noise?
I am not really sure where to post this so I figured I would post it here. I was on my way home tonight and an eclipse pulls up next to me and starts reving its engine at the light like he wants to race. I figured what the hell. I got him off the line and beat him to the next light. He kept up with me and my car is only a stock 350 tpi. My question is, when he shifted and when he was reving up the car I could hear that hissing sound that you hear on the eclipse in the fast and the furious. What is it that makes that noise? I am not wanting to put it on my car but was just curious as to what it was. I have looked around a bit but haven't found anything that says what it is. LIke I said I am just curious is all. I figured his car had more ***** than what it did, or mine has more that I thought. Either way I still beat him. It felt pretty good.
